Tomato paste

Sungol tomato paste is produced at the Tataio Urmia factory. The tomatoes from the city of Urmia are among the most flavorful, which has given this paste a unique and distinctive taste compared to other brands. During the pasteurization process, microorganisms are eliminated using steam and an appropriate temperature; therefore, Sungol tomato paste does not need preservatives. Tomato paste contains lycopene. Lycopene is a powerful antioxidant that helps prevent damage to cells. The human body cannot produce lycopene, so it must be obtained from dietary sources. Most people get the majority of their dietary lycopene from tomato products. Processed tomato products have higher lycopene levels than raw tomatoes. This is because during the cooking process, the tomato cell walls break down and more lycopene becomes available.
